Not just a guidebook, but a manifesto

"Magnificent Midlife is not just a guidebook for women at ANY age, but really, it's a manifesto - a declaration that life in the middle is in reality, the beginning of a beautiful ever-unfolding experience of stepping into our power that yields us owning our years, unapologetically. Rachel has taught me so much through these pages and I have a renewed sense of commitment and determination to take up the space in my world, regardless of my size, age, or hair color or wrinkles!”

A must-read for all midlife and menopausal women

Rachel has compiled a wonderfully informative read here. I have listened to her amazing podcast series Magnificent Midlife where she is up for challenging the old stories associated with this time in women's lives. For too long the knowledge base around menopause has been sorely lacking. It is great to have another book spotlight midlife women's wellbeing. We are indeed a new generation of midlife women. A highly recommended read.

Rachel has created a

phenomenal book!

Rachel's story of being diagnosed with early menopause is the backdrop of this book, and Rachel tells it in a way that really brings you in and close. Fortunately for us women in midlife, she doesn't stop there. She introduces us to the amazing possibilities that are available to us in the midlife years and provides the information that we will need to navigate whatever our own journey in midlife will entail. This book is so well-written and produced -- it's incredible. I highly recommend the audio version of the book, so that you get to hear Rachel's fantastic accent as well!

Every menopausal woman

should read this book!

Like a kind and competent big sister, Rachel takes us by the hand and shows us how to use menopause to create a fabulous life. She covers how to manage physical and emotional symptoms with lifestyle changes, exposes the toxicity of the misogynistic culture that makes us feel so unwell, and gives us a path to blossom in our postmenopausal life. Packed full of inspiring quotes, resources, wit, useful practices and enquiries every menopausal woman should read this book. In fact, buy two copies and give the other one to her partner, boss or child and we can change the world!

Most re-readable book ever

Read this book. Then read it again. I found myself turning down page corners to go back to. At first I was just curious - I’d listened to the Magnificent Midlife podcast and found it fascinating, then became a guest on episode #125. Then I was drawn in to the intention of the book, if that makes sense. I’m not the sort to be preached to or who’s drawn in easily to new concepts or “fads,” (as I, the skeptical reader might call them). There’s something subtly encouraging and motivating about Rachel’s attitude and personal thoughts about these middle years so many of us have found ourselves in, and I found myself just a little more uplifted as I moved through the book each morning.

 A much needed spring

 in the step

A brilliant read putting a much needed spring in the step. So insightful and relatable. And such a relief to finally hear that everything you’ve been worrying about is perfectly normal. And that as we (women) get older, our presence and role in life needs to be seen, heard and reframed to embrace the positivity and hope that we should be feeling for ourselves and bringing to others all around us.

A MUST READ if you want to feel fabulous about midlife!

If you want the secrets to "pro-aging" (versus all the anti-aging noise), then run and read Rachel Lankester's Magnificent Midlife book! It is informative, insightful, important and witty! I have the audiobook version, which allowed me to enjoy the author herself deliver the facts, anecdotes and many useful tips and suggestions, along with her subtle yet wonderful humor! This book is empowering - and a reminder that our best years are not behind us! I am also a big fan and highly recommend Rachel's podcast by the same name. Her guest are interesting experts in the many different areas of midlife for women.
